Former Postdoctoral Researcher

I was a postdoc in the Language Learning Lab from 2017 to 2021, funded by a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. My research focused on how children learn and generalise the meanings of words, specifically relational words, whose abstract nature both creates a learning challenge and also makes them useful cognitive structures for supporting higher order thinking. I now work as Materials Lead for Gorilla Experiment Builder (https://gorilla.sc/), writing documentation and supporting researchers in building online experiments.
